Important: Delivery Address Accuracy


Many delivery delays and returns happen because of incorrect or incomplete addresses entered by customers.

To keep our operations efficient, we follow strict logistics rules with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and GLS:

• Auto-Abandon Policy for Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, our logistics partners follow preset instructions to abandon the parcel automatically.

This means the shipment will not be returned to Scafos by default.

• If You Want the Shipment Returned & Re-Sent

If a customer requests a return-to-origin (RTO) and re-shipping despite the wrong address provided:

  • A holding charge of USD 500 will apply.
  • This amount is adjusted once we receive the actual RTO invoice from our logistics partner.
  • Any difference (if lower) will be refunded; if higher, the additional amount will be charged before re-shipment.

This policy ensures we can continue offering free and subsidized shipping without losses from address errors.
