Please do note that by default our custom-printed organic cotton bandana on a square size has machine-stitched hem on all four sides & the oblong bandana in this fabric is machine-stitched along the length with frayed fringes running across the width.

Cotton is a durable fiber and compared to other fabrics like silk or chiffon for example, cotton is in general easier to maintain and less fragile.
However: To keep your cotton bandana in pristine condition, we recommend hand-washing in cold water with a mild detergent when needed. You can also machine-wash on a delicate cycle, but be sure to use a garment bag to protect the cotton bandana. Avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the cotton fibers. If you must iron your organic cotton bandana, do so on a low setting.
It's also important to store your cotton bandana properly. Fold them loosely and place them in a drawer or closet out of direct sunlight. cotton is a natural fabric and is therefore susceptible to moth damage, so be sure to keep it away from any areas where moths may congregate
