The Interview

How many hours would you say that you work on average each day?

I work for approximately 8 hours each workday at our factory facility, with breaks and time for lunch.

Do you enjoy making the custom scarf orders?

Actually, I've spent my entire life making scarves. This is the only line of work I've ever been involved in, and I truly love it.

How did you get your start making scarves?

My mother worked in the same factory, and through her I learned my craft. Once my children were born, I knew I needed to earn extra income to help support my family and my children's education. SCAFOS offered me a job and I've been here ever since!

What does this job mean to you?

This job means the world to me. I am now able to make enough money to support my family and provide them with the proper education they need. My wish is that investing in their education will give them the means to make a good living someday.

What is it that you like most about your job?

To earn money is one thing, but here we have the freedom to express our own ideas and we are listened to with an open mind and treated as equals. On top of that, the facility is lovely and the environment is amazing. These reasons, as well as many others, make me feel absolutely blessed to be able to work here at SCAFOS.

Tell us about your family.

I share my life with my husband and our two lovely children, and they bring me much joy and inspire me to work hard so that I can offer them the best life possible.
